Get to know me

Hi, I’m William—a technophile with a passion for all things Linux, open source, and two wheels. By day, I tinker with computer hardware and software, explore the ever-evolving world of FOSS, and break things (just to fix them better). By night (or whenever the road calls), I’m on my motorcycle chasing the horizon, always looking for the perfect ride and the next big idea. This site is where my digital and mechanical passions collide—welcome to the ride.

I first stumbled upon Linux during a frustrating stretch when computers felt more like locked boxes than tools of creativity. That all changed the day I installed my first distro. Suddenly, I wasn’t just using a computer—I was understanding it. Linux opened the door to a world where curiosity is rewarded, learning never stops, and you're free to shape your system the way you see fit. It reignited my love for technology and gave me a deeper appreciation for the open source community that makes it all possible. My distro of choice is Fedora but love to test drive a variety of distros.

My journey on two wheels started with a humble Ninja 250—small, forgiving, and the perfect teacher. As my skills and confidence grew, so did the bikes: first a ZX-6R, and now I ride a ZX-10R, a machine that never fails to thrill. Recently, I discovered the joy of mini motos and picked up a Honda Navi. Just like Linux did with technology, mini motos brought a sense of fun and freedom back to riding. It's not always about speed or specs—sometimes it's just about the ride and the joy it brings.

None of this would mean nearly as much without the love of my life, Monica. She's my biggest inspiration and the person who constantly pushes me to be the best version of myself. We share so many passions—especially our love for riding. There’s something special about cruising side by side on our Honda Navis, just enjoying the moment together. She's not only my riding partner but also my best friend, and along with our dog Doris (the real boss of the house), she makes every day better.
